Apple’s Find My app has been a helpful app for finding lost Apple products over the years. However, Apple at its April 2021 event announced the long rumored Air Tag. Company has introduce its product AirTags to help users find their non-Apple Products as well. AirTag makes use of the find My app to find your non apple items like your keys with ease. The tags will be sold at a starting price of $29 and for $99 you can get a pack of four. The tags will be available on April 30th but Pre-orders have already started.
How does Apple AirTag work?

- Attach the AirTag to whatever item you’d like to keep track of.
How to use AirTags to find your stuff
Use the Find My app
If the item you’ve misplaced is within Bluetooth range, you can use the Find My app to play a sound from the AirTag to help you find it. You can also ask Siri to find the item, and the AirTag will play a sound if it’s nearby. If you have an iPhone 11 or iPhone 12, you’ll be able to take advantage of the Precision Finding feature, which can help guide you to the AirTag with more precise directions.
Can’t find it anywhere? Turn on AirTags Lost Mode
To most Apple users, Lost Mode is not a new feature. Just like other Apple devices, AirTag Can be put into Lost Mode. This allows it to be detected by any device in the network near it. Once the AirTag is detected by a Close by device on the network, a notification is automatically Sent to you. You can also set it so you can be Contacted by anyone who finds your device by tapping your Airtag with an NFC-Capable Smartphone.
