What is Covid-19 self-testing kit?
The self-testing kit is a small pocket-size with four main tools inside it. Each kit carries a pre-filled extraction tube, a sterile nasal swab, one test card and a biohazard bag. You can do corona test by simply adding a sample. If your result is positive then you have to follow the Covid protocol.
How does this kit work?
You can do Covid-19 test by simply adding a sample. Through this test kit, anyone can do a corona test at their home without the help of any lab or medical expert. If your result is positive then you have to follow the Covid protocol.

How to use Covid-19 self testing kit?
To get Covid-19 test you just need to download the “MyLab Coviself” app and follow the 5 steps.
- First take the Pre-filled extraction tube and tap it gently to ensure that the liquid settle at the bottom
- Open the tube and Sterile Nasal Swab, Carefully insert the Nasal Swab in your both nostrils (2-4cm until resistence is met). Roll the Swab 5 times inside each nostrils.
- Dip that Nasal Swab sample in the filled extraction tube, mix the Nasal Swab well. Find the break-point and break the Swab.
- Cover the tube and pour 2 filled drops in the in the Test card.
- Wait for 15min to get results.
There will be two section on the test card – the Control section and the Test section. If the bar shows up only at the control section “C”, the result is negative. But if the bar appears on both the control section and test “T” section, the test tube is positive.
At 15min, the MyLab Coviself app raises an alarm. Persons taking the rest will have to click a picture of the test stripe. After completing the test procedure with the same mobile phone, registure your test to get a result report. The kit will be available in the market in a week time at Rs. 250 per pack.
